Robert Axelrod is a gay Jewish writer, originally hailing from Michigan, whose work focuses on exploring the intersectionality of identity and culture. He was most recently staffed on Amazon's upcoming series adaptation of The Probability of Miracles. Robert was a member of the 2024 Warner Bros. Discovery Access Writers Program and is a past recipient of the Humanitas New Voices fellowship, CineStory TV fellowship, and was part of the inaugural class of the Jewish Writer Institute's Digital Storyteller Lab. Additionally, Robert is a previous winner of the A-List, an annual competition honoring the best work written by assistants in the entertainment industry. As a playwright, his work has been produced/presented by IAMA Theatre Company, Theatre NOVA, and The Road Theatre Company. In addition to his professional and creative pursuits, Robert has been a volunteer crisis service counselor with The Trevor Project, the nation’s leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention service for LGBTQ youth.
