An unapologetic dork who loves to explore every facet of humanity, Devon Kerr is, amongst many other things, a screenwriter, producer, crossword constructor, country line dancing expert, and a former employee of the public library. Devon most recently placed on the 2025 Black List for his script “REVENGE BODY,” a darkly comedic adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo, and also was recently a recipient of the prestigious Humanitas New Voices Fellowship. In the past, he has worked as a writer’s assistant for “FBI: MOST WANTED” on CBS and for legal drama “PERSONAL INJURY,” set up at Fifth Season. His feature “MASTERPIECE” has Mariela Villa and Lauren Beveridge attached to produce. He currently works as the Development Coordinator for the production company Discount Sushi Productions, founded by Jon Cryer and Lisa Joyner. His imaginative, stylish, and humorous writing explores people grappling with facing the dark and broken parts of themselves.
