InFocus: Arab Cinema, InFocus: Middle Eastern Cinema, and December Shorts

Humanitas is proud to once again be a Community Collaborator of NewFilmmakers Los Angeles. NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) hosts its December Monthly Film Festival, which features its annual InFocus: Middle Eastern & Arab Cinema program, which highlights the work of middle eastern and arabic filmmakers in front of and behind the camera, InFocus: Arab Cinema, InFocus: Middle Eastern Cinema, and December Shorts, an offering of highlights from NFMLA’s ongoing general program.  

Our programming features a multitude of genres, a stand-out selection of short films curated in partnership with The Arab Film and Media Institute (AFMI) that showcases Arab storytellers from across the world (including productions from Lebanon), and ending with a block of short films from Middle Eastern filmmakers.
