2025 THE WRITERS ROOM
TABLE READ EVENT
The students were led through a TV-writing workshop, which offered students an introduction to TV writing and the opportunity to act as the “staff” of a TV “writers room,” by Teaching Artist Spiro Skentzos (Arrow, Grimm), after a 10-part speaker series featuring a range of industry professionals. The 2024-25 Writers Room concluded with a table read of the students’ Abbott Elementary spec script. Students performed the script for an audience of peers, classmates, and humanitas’ partners guests.
