Learn More about Chris:

  • To date, Chris has written seven spec feature projects. Throughout his work he consistently explores themes of existentialism. He writes characters dealing with threats to their core identities, and the question of what roles they are supposed to play in life. Often this takes the form of characters struggling with the death of their idealism. He creates rich, high concept worlds with an atmospheric, and darker, yet reflective tone, tending to avoid easy answers. While he has moved between genres in his work, Chris has most recently been focused on science fiction and horror. Above all he is passionate about cinematic movies that entertain, through which he wants to continue telling stories that also challenge an audience to dwell in the complexity and emotional weight of modern life, but that ultimately leave them feeling a sense of hope and possibility.

Originally from the U.K. Chris holds dual citizenship, and is fortunate enough to now call Hawai‘i home, where he tries to surf whenever the waves are good.
