Billed as the U.K.'s No. 1 TV fundraising event, Red Nose Day — in collaboration with charity Comic Relief U.K. — is getting a live three-hour fundraising special on NBC airing May 2015. Expect stand-up performances, sketch comedy, parodies and music performances from A-listers and musicians, though no names were announced.

Red Nose Day was created by Richard Curtis in 1985, with the aim of using media and celebrities to help raise money and awareness of poverty to save and change millions of lives. It has raised more than $1 billion in donations since it began and the U.K. specials have been BBC's highest-rated Friday night broadcasts for several years.
