CBS Buys Blended Family Comedy From HUMANITAS trustee Matt Tarses

Mad Love creator Matt Tarses is back at CBS with a new comedy project. The network has put in development Hannah Royce’s Questionable Choices, a single-camera comedy from Tarses and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment. Sony Pictures TV, where Tarses has been based, is the studio.

Written by Tarses, Hannah Royce’s Questionable Choices centers on a woman who has made some interesting choices throughout her life – namely, having three different kids with three different men – but all have led her to having a very unique, loving, blended family.

Tarses executive produces with Kaplan, Wendi Trilling, Dana Honor and Fiona Clark.

This is the second sale for Tarses this year. He also is writing/executive producing Start Up, a single-camera comedy starring and to be directed/exec produced by Zach Braff, which has a put pilot commitment at ABC via Sony TV/Davis Entertainment.
